So strip back your routine for 27 days and let the skin fix itself, credit it to a $265 moisturiser - the cheek! I mean, I have to laugh or I'll cry at this point.
Bwahah! I love this piece. What a perfect example of capitalism … turning your skin’s own innate ability to renew itself into an expensive “must have” product!
So I’ve really simplified my skincare routine, cleanser, rose water, and oil. But am wondering if there is a cheap, natural, non-stripping cleanser out there. I really don’t want to buy a “beauty brand” cleanser. Any suggestions? What about a makeup remover?
This is so true. You said it Jessica in your last paragraph - I have used many products mostly because they were free and given to me through gifts etc.. And yes, some of them I can clearly see results, BUT! There is a big BUT! It's almost like a "potent demand" is made upon my skin. Say, day 3, looks dewier, although dewier to me is a bit sweaty with one of my not so professional fella actors slapping me to hard across my face in that dramatic scene! Back to the product nightmare: yes, it's changed, if you stop, it starts to get really pissed and bitchy. What I am saying these products bring your skins lower layers up before and keep them there. Basically, prematurely.
My skin starts to burn, to talk back to me, this is what it says: "What's really wrong with you? Can't you see I'm working for you as nature intended?!" Talks to me just like an artist would say, "Hey, I am busy working and being, so buzz off!" We are the Earth. we don't need all this shit! Save your mnoney. Listen to Jessica. LA @ Flying Bra
