She JUST changed the parts she plagiarized from me in her newsletter this morning ( I still have the screenshots of the plagiarism) I’m glad she changed it, I’ll take it as an admission of guilt AND I wish none of this ever happened to any of us.
That this has happened more than once is unconscionable. I would forgive someone plagiarizing once- but twice (and probably more times). Whew. I am glad you have receipts and it is so upsetting that this happened to you.

This is such a pity. I read both and found Kimia’s essay very original insofar as its core premise of rejecting a cultural ideal, which is a really valuable perspective. The carelessness and lack of citation is a real shame and I hate to think how this statement will impact the career of such a promising diasporic voice.
