The fake noses thing reminds me of this series of Tumblr posts I saw about how “We literally treat the natural female body like it’s obscene”— no hairy legs even in shaving ads, lipstick ads where the actress has lighter lipstick on underneath… and fake large noses because real ones are, like, too taboo to even depict?
