Men *should* reject the idea that their unmodified body isnt enough, but for the right reasons

Both my husband and I laughed at the description of typical “masculine marketing”. His comment - “ah how fragile masculinity is! We just reinforce it at every moment” 😂
This is great! A chain of department stores in Australia have been redoing their beauty floors and one of the big addition is men’s skincare. ‘Gender neutral’ brands like The Ordinary still seem to be more female driven as it seems men’s skincare needs a label on it, and the default belief is that these products are for women otherwise. Another growing industry I’m scared/fascinated by is the teen skincare market. Would love to read something on that too Jess!
I'm 70 so my men are old too. It's a market generally they don't care about unless shaving is a problem. The answer then is a beard. Some men care and will make the effort but consistency is a problem and I find generally won't pay much for it. They don't find value - so no time and effort and $. Things are changing and men are getting the education. Surratt Beauty is illuminating the way. Many many men will likely take the call as far as good grooming, some spf. We will never not primp and preen as humans do.
