wide eyes: I thought the Love Island bit was an exaggeration. Those ladies definitely look like they have entered the age of wisdom. Clarification: that isn't a diss. It means they look mature. Like they have lived. Like you could see advice from them. Under 25, you should look like you still have lots to learn.

The only downside of this podcast being long is that I don't know what to comment on. Very interesting the conversation of "immediacy" and the desire to be ageless.

Loved your hot take on the fillers convo, Jessica! It’s so true—I feel like every time I see a young celeb online (one TSwift opener comes to mind), they look older, and not because I haven’t seen them in a while…because they got more filler and suddenly look 45! And they’ve been told over and over that they need the filler to look *younger*. Clearly the marketing is doing what the filler cannot. Would love to hear you share more of your hot takes on the pod—more beauty content, please!

Love the new episode! One ingredient that is in almost all perfumes is ambergris, a secretion from the sperm whale. So a lot of fragrances are also not vegan or cruelty free and the hunting of sperm whales for ambergris has decimated their population. Another side effect of the fragrance industry exploding.
